Thanks guys. The first link is the shap file of the wetlands. The second is a drawing of the northern state of pa. Thanks in advance if you can get this to work.

After looking at the files that you posted I think I know whats going on. I typed in MAPIMPORT selected the .shp file and then i noticed that the "Input Coordinate" field is <None>. So then I looked at the .prj file and I find that the input coordinate should be NAD_1983_Albers. I do not have this in my AutoCAD. The code for this projection I believe is us_alb83 and has the following parameters:

    Projection Units: meters
    Spheroid: GRS80/WGS84
    1st Standard Parallel: 29 deg 30 min N
    2nd Standard Parallel: 45 deg 30 min N
    Central Meridian: -96 deg (W)
Latitude of Origin: 23 deg N
    False Easting: 0
    False Northing: 0

So if you can define this coordinate system in your AutoCAD then use this as your input coordinate system. The above specs can be found in the .prj file and can be opened with notepad. I hope that this helps you. I'll be looking into getting projections defined in AutoCAD.

By gosh i think I did it! I created a new coordinate system using the above specs. That process is under MAP > TOOLS > DEFINE GLOBAL COORDINATE SYSTEM. After defining the new coordinate system then I used that as my input coordinate in MAPIMPORT. See if that works for you.
